Consisting of experimental and investigative prints influenced by the poetry of Pablo Neruda, the exhibition is a mixture of highly personal visions and the unpredictable results of a shared exploration of text and imagery. The work is created through a variety of techniques and media. It considers the impact of language, idiom and translation on form and is accompanied by a live performance. Artists Anita Antonetty, Laura Cantor, Alejandra Delfin and Amy Digi live and work in the Bronx. Curated by Alejandra Delfin. Performance piece conceived and directed by Michael Wiggins. Original music by Marni Rice. Video installation by Råul Aguirre Antonetty. Featuring actors Armando Batista and Sarah Douglas.
